Air Force Technical Sergeants Help As Adopt-A-Highway Workcrew! NCO Academy Class 05-4, Hercules Flight - May 14, 2005
Adopt A Highway! Yeehaw! I want to give a *BIG THANK YOU* to
Christian Anderson and the NCO Academy Class 05-4 (Hercules Flight), for volunteering a few hours to help beautify Highway 24 in Manitou Springs. These Technical Sergeants are currently in a training at Peterson Air Force Base, and they were a really friendly bunch. Their names: Christian, Kim, Cassie, Rob, Josh, Jeff and Dawn. They did a great job! :) |
LEFT: Ooooh! We found a Toyota hubcap! :p) RIGHT: Christian (known as "Spots Dad" on the forums), found literature titled "How American Microwaves". |
TOP: Uh, we found two blank checks that we quickly ripped up. I called the business afterwards, but it appears they are out of business. Whew!
BOTTOM: Look at this! We found a manual for a self-propelled elevating work platform. If someone chucked this manual out the window and then worked with this piece of equipment, well, that would be very irresponsible and dangerous! |

Christian stuffs an aluminum soda can in his bag with a beautiful backdrop of the mountains behind him. |
Don't those C-DOT orange bags look like pumpkins? ;) |
In the right photo, they were showing me that sticking your thumbs up with your arm totally extended means something good. I think it had to do with being Air Force proud! Go Air Force! Kick Army's you-know-what! :) Here are all of my previous Adopt-A-Highway stuff: January 2004 (First Workcrew) Spring 2004, Fall 2004, January 2005, April 2005 Steve's true motives for adopting highway revealed |
Now this is a beautiful sight: My Adopt-A-Highway sign with people working in the background, while I'm taking the picture! ;) Thank you again to the Air Force Technical Sergeants! ;) |
