"The Angel of Shavano"
(A Distinct And Beautiful Snow Angel On The Side Of Mt. Shavano!)
Can you see it? Do you see the angel? :)
Firstly, that tallest peak above is Mt. Shavano, one of
Colorado's 54 "fourteeners". Mt. Shavano stands at 14,229 feet above
sea level at the summit, and it is located west of
Salida and Poncha Springs
and is part of the Sawatch Range. (It's located south of Mt. Antero and Mt. Princeton.)
Anyway, the Angel of Shavano in the valley just below the summit. It looks like the angel has her arms out as
if she is fluttering up to the sky. She has a thin body with a head that shows the right side of her face.
There it is ... The Angel of Mt. Shavano! :)
Have a great one! -Steve :)
