Here is another pictorial of mountain scenery in and around Breckenridge. This is 14er Quandary Peak (alt. 14,265 feet) teasing us with touches of autumn colors. :) Quandary Peak, CO
Red Mountain (alt. 13,229 feet) stands very proud to the east. Summit County, CO
Heading north on Highway 9, the town of Blue River offers some very nice views of Bald Mountain (alt. 13,684 feet). Summit County, CO
Arriving in town, I captured three pictures of the Tenmile Range that is home of Breckenridge's many ski runs. Breckenridge, CO

A couple of photos inside the town of Breckenridge:
LEFT: Kudos the planners of the River Walk Park in the heart of the town. It's a really nice place to sit, talk with a friend or even wade in the Blue River with kids. :)
RIGHT: A peak stands tall in the foreground.

Now all three of these photos were taken in Park County as I traveled toward Hoosier Pass. That is Mt. Sherman (top), a broader view of Mt. Sherman and the Mosquito Range (middle) and Loveland Mountain & the Mt. Democrat - Lincoln - Bross cluster (bottom).
