BRECKENRIDGE PICTURES: (Scenery While Biking in Breckenridge Area) - September 15, 2005

Breckenridge, Colorado! ... Altitude 9,600 feet!
With a very slow work day, I decided to spend the afternoon in Breckenridge bicycling around and taking pictures with the camera. |

It was a very leisurely ride, as I trekked through many of the neighborhoods in Breckenridge, a very popular town for its skiing opportunities in the winter.

I actually had to postpone my bike ride for about 20 minutes to hold a press conference in River Walk Park (in heart of Breckenridge) to address some of the Hair Consultant issues that are being contentiously debated on this web site. I'm telling you, Hair Consultant Ben is like a lightning rod for controversy! :( |

After biking throughout Breckenridge, I biked up Highway 9 to Blue River, which is just a few miles up. |

A got a shot of that gorgeous lake in Blue River with the beautiful mountain backdrop while the bike. :) |

I biked up Wagon Road, then turned left up towards Spruce Valley Ranch and spotted this home for sale in Blue River. It's a little out of my price range (click on sheet for details), but it looked interesting.
I've got an idea! Why don't all of us on the Friendship Board pitch in and maybe we could buy this as the official ColoradoGuy.com palace for summer events? :) |

I had a nice 16-mile ride. My odometer is actually 10 miles behind ... I'm up to 2,446 for the year! :)
