The ColoradoGuy.com DONATION PAGE

Telluride, Colorado Greetings folks. I'll get right to the point: You are very welcome to donate to ColoradoGuy.com!

This web site costs me a good chunk of money per month, and requires a large amount of my personal time and energy on a weekly and daily basis. While things have improved somewhat with an increase in advertising revenue in the year 2007, I still face quite a few financial challenges that limit all I can do on this web site.

All I will say is, if you've enjoyed visiting this web site, I kindly request that you consider giving, even if it's just $10! :)

As I have shared with many, one my personal goals is to make ColoradoGuy.com a financially viable Internet business that would free me to work full-time in assuming the numerous and grandiose projects of this web site (TV show? More movies? More funny news articles? More traveling to scenic Colorado places? etc.)

As I've shared my vision with others, a few wise individuals challenged me to create this donation page as one way to generate revenue. I don't expect to get rich through donations, but everything definitely helps. Consider this: The suggested donation for a year is just $35, which comes out to 9.5 cents per day. Is this web site worth 9.5 cents per day to you? :)

Can You Help Me?

Ways you can donate your financial resources to become a "Member" or "Donor"

THERE ARE TWO "TRACKS" FOR CONTRIBUTING. Become a:

  • ColoradoGuy Member (Annual donation of $35 or more)
  • ColoradoGuy Donor (Minimum donation of $10 and up to $34.99)

    Members receive the following perks:

  • Access to the Donor Forum and Member Forum.
  • Editing/revising privileges in all forums.
  • Next to your name in the forums will read: $$$$$$ (((((( COLORADOGUY MEMBER ))))))) $$$$$$
  • You are a Member for one full-year from the day you gave.

    Donors receive the following perks:

  • Access to the Donor Forum.
  • Next to your name in the forums will read: $ 2007 ColoradoGuy Donor $
  • Editing/revising privileges in all forums.

NOTE: The expiration/renewal date for donors ends on January 1 of every year. (For example, whether you give in February 2007, May 2007 or September 2007, your donor status would expire and require renewal on January 1, 2008.)

How to Give - Other Creative Ways To Help Out

Independence Pass Put up a banner ad on this web site! Have a "button" that promotes and links to your business, home page, favorite charity or social/political cause. (My rates are very reasonable. Click here for serious inquiries only!)

  • Buy a fun ColoradoGuy.com item in my store! I maKe very little in commission on those products, but hey, everything helps. :)

  • You can give financially two ways: Pay via PayPal by clicking on the symbol. My PayPal account is SteveGarufi-at-juno-dot-com ...

Or, you may also cash, a check (written out to "Steve Garufi") or money order to my mailing address:

    Steve Garufi
    P.O. Box 294
    Buena Vista, CO 81211

NOTE: A small percentage (4%?) of your PayPal donation is kept as commission. PayPal is certainly the quicker and hassle free way to donate funds, but if you're sending a large amount of dough, you may want to send it via mail. It's your call!

    A Few Other Issues

Don't feel pressured to give! Please, please, please, do not donate unless you feel compelled to give. There is absolutely no pressure whatsoever on my part. There are many other charities out there that are probably much more worthy than this web site, but hey, if I don't ask, I won't receive. ;)

I'll take more than $35! Suggested donation for the year is $35 (that comes out to 9.5 cents per day!), but by all means, if you share in my vision of growing this web site and feel burdened to give more out of your financial resources, you're quite welcome to donate sums of $100, $500, $2,500, $10,000 ... You get the idea! :)

No refunds. Just as a matter of policy, there are no refunds. Perks are added benefits for donating to this web site, but in no way is this a buyer-seller type agreement. Also, donations are not tax deductible. If you have any remaining questions about the content on this page, please communicate with me on the Friendship Board. Thank you!

Thank you for your love and compassion!

    Steve
