Candidate Donna Gives Steve FREE FOOD!
February 25, 2002
MANITOU SPRINGS, CO -- Attempting to appeal to voters who
are concerned with Steve's bachelor (and usually hungry) lifestyle,
Hair Consultant candidate Donna Ward offered Steve a large portion of her
"Frito Pie" this week at her campaign headquarters in Manitou Springs.
Steve, who spontaneously visited Donna to say "hi," was immediately
enthralled when he saw Donna's lunch, which comprised of shredded meat,
cheese, tomatoes, onions and fritos. Picking up on Steve's facial cues,
Donna offered the remainder of her delicacy to Steve.
"Thanks Donna. (The Frito Pie) is soooooooooo good." Steve exclaimed with a grin.
Ward's efforts to feed Steve is well documented on this web site. Her
delight in seeing Steve eat well is viewed as an extra benefit should she win
the April 2002 election and become
Steve's 9th Hair Consultant. Along with leading Steve in his
journey towards long hair,
Donna pledged to make home-cooked meals for him
- a definite plus for the inept cook and bachelor that Steve is.
In fact, this past weekend, Steve visited the Ward residence to watch the
movie Shrek with her children. After the movie, Donna offered Steve
some slices of microwave pizza. Unfortunately, Steve was not carrying his
digital camera with him to detail his chomping on the pizza.
"I'll have to have you over soon for dinner." said Donna, "tell me what night is good for you and I'll make you something nice."
Giving Steve free food as a way to
sway voters is nothing new. In her unsuccessful bid to unseat
incumbent Hair Consultant Dawnn DiVito, Donna gave Steve a
free Reeses Peanut Butter Cup
which was publicized by the ColoradoGuy press.
As for Donna's opponents in April election, Boki Evans,
the other Manitou
Springs candidate, has generously bought
Steve free drinks at Spice of
Life Café. The other candidate, Kendra Morrell,
has never cooked for Steve and
has not even set her foot in Manitou Springs during this campaign.
"It sounds like you need a wife more than a Hair Consultant." exclaimed
Sherri A., an employee at Spice of Life Café who has been outspoken
about Steve in the past. Because Sherri is friends with both Boki and Donna, she is undecided as to whom she will vote for.
"Look, I'm not the greatest cook, okay?" replied Steve, "Give me a break!"
