MANITOU SPRINGS, CO - Former Hair Consultant Donna Ward publicly endorsed Alissa "AlamosaGirl" Rusk in next week's upcoming Hair Consultant election and encouraged everyone to vote for her.

"Alissa is one of my girlfriends. I really like her and she'd help you the most with growing Steve's hair." stated Donna, who began calling friends and urging them to vote for Alissa.

"That Alissa is a sweetheart. I hope she wins." Donna added.

Alissa met Donna last year on the same day that she and Steve were touring the Manitou Springs mineral springs, when they briefly stopped by Donna's home.

Possible Backfire From Endorsement

Many however, are criticizing this endorsement and are concluding that Alissa's connection with the twice-failed Hair Consultant is a persuasive reason not to vote for Alissa.

"Wasn't she fired for being a do-nothing Hair Consultant?" replied Andy Barton of Colorado Springs, "Why would Alissa want to be associated with someone who sucked as Hair Consultant?"

"I just don't get it. If I were Alissa, I would not want people to think that I was going to be just like Donna (as Hair Consultant)." stated one local Manitou Springs resident, who wished to remain anonymous.

Much of the controversy stems from Donna Ward's dishonorable firing from the position just five months ago after the ColoradoGuy.com community had lost respect for her leadership abilities. Along with being labeled incompetent, lame and a "do-nothing Hair Consultant," Ward also has the dubious record of being the only Hair Consultant who, during her leadership, Steve had foolishly decided to cut his hair short (in 1999 during her first term as Hair Consultant).

The actual voting for this election takes place from April 17-20. All are eligible to vote.
