The Hair Consultant Chat Room Debate was a HUGE SUCCESS! For over an hour, there were 14 to 16 chatters in the chat room. Click the adjacent picture for proof ... Heh heh! :p

Special thanks must be given to three of the four candidates, Kansas Kelly, Florida Pete and Ben (Tao). (Dr. Jon Westcott didn't show up.) All three answered every question hurled at them, and I've provided a brief report of candidates' answers below!

So if you weren't in attendance, I dare say you totally missed out! Just look at the photo to the left: It brought tears of joy to this webmaster's eyes to see "16" next to the chat link on the Friendship Board. Sniff sniff!

So the chat room debate has become a tradition of sorts. In last year's election (2004), Laloo was the only candidate to attend with both Phil and Chris not showing up. (Click here to read about Laloo claiming victory during the debate!) But this year, well, we really had a bump in the intensity! ;)

Kansas Kelly

1)kisscactus: So Kelly, why haven't you showed us any of your photos from the ColoradoGuy Festival?

toteco78(Tote for Tao 2005!!!!): Yeah Kelly!!! Where's those pictures?!!

sarcoxy(Kansas Kelly): Well, I probably should have by now. MY home computer is not hooked to the internet. It makes it tricky. I'll post some though...and I'll email some to you!

2)Littlehands: Kelly, what are you going to do about Steve's hair??

sarcoxy(Kansas Kelly): I'm going to help Steve grow his hair, using a combination of approaches. It's not just about throwing out hair care advice, it's about holding him accountable! It's about encouraging him and supporting him in his goals & life!!

3)_Jeep_Chick_((crazy)): so kelly if you are elected - would you actually touch Steves head and wash his hair?

sarcoxy(Kansas Kelly): Absolutely.

4)sarcoxy(Kansas Kelly): Just to clear the air...I wore ball caps a lot over the ColoradoGuy Festival because there were 4 of us sharing one bathroom. I wear them a lot when I am in the sun because I have fair skin and ball caps shade my face.

5)sarcoxy(Kansas Kelly): The number one reason why I should be Steve's HC is because I'm the ONLY one of the candidates that has regualr communication with Steve outside this site. Steve needs accountability...and I am the only candidate that can whip him into shape.

6)kisscactus: It's definitely a shame that Bernie is not around. Sheeeesh!

Florida Pete: Bernie shmernie. He's the excuse-master!

Littlehands: Well, he hasn't been since they made the announcement of he and Kelly running! :)

sarcoxy(Kansas Kelly): Bless Bernie's heart. I won't say a negative word about him. He's wonderful. He supports me & encourages me...and everyone here knows he's a wonderful friend!

1)kisscactus: Ben, are you planning to attend the 2005 CG Festival?

One_with_the_tao(Dead-beat): If $$$ allows I will, but I am currently destined to be unemployed on 8/10/05

One_with_the_tao(Dead-beat): I must say, I have been to a festival in the past, which is more than what Pete can say

2)kisscactus:ben, how do you feel about all the negative campaigning going on in this election?

One_with_the_tao(Dead-beat): Well, I can understand that people are a bit intimidated by the fact they are getting smoked in the polls by a person who said they will do nothing if elected, so I guess it was expected

One_with_the_tao(Dead-beat): I would also like to remind voters that I have not PERSONALLY said anything negative, besides telling Laloo to shut her trap

3)One_with_the_tao(Dead-beat): Steve, have your HC's been active or deadbeats...the majority of your hc's?

kisscactus: Well Ben, I've had quite a few dead-beats. Phil? A Total Dead Beat. Martha? a DQ who had to go. A-Girl? Dead beat! John Boy! Dead Beat... Donna? She did NOTHING!

One_with_the_tao(Dead-beat): Do-nothings...right, and your hair is doing just fine...

toteco78(Tote for Tao 2005!!!!): AND STEVE LOOK HOW FAR YOUR HAIR HAS COME IN SPITE OF THIS!!!!

Florida Pete

1)kisscactus: Okay, Question for Pete: Pete, do you plan to attend the 2005 ColoradoGuy Festival?

FloridaPete: That remains undetermined at this point.

2)_Jeep_Chick_((crazy)): I have a question for pete there in Florida - if you are elected HC what will be the length of hair you guarantee Steve's hair will grow in the fist month?

FloridaPete: First month I guarantee 1/4 inch additional growth.

kisscactus: You know, I like the way Pete gives specific answers about my hair. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

3)FloridaPete: Mare, Ben lost the debate. It was a skunking like nothing you'd have imagined.
