JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Hair Consultant candidate "Florida Pete" (adjacent photo with wife) sent Steve "ColoradoGuy" Garufi a tin container of delicious white macadamia and chocolate chip cookies this weekend, as a gesture of friendship and kindness.

Pete's act of benevolence may have been done to contrast himself against one fellow candidate (Ben "One With The Tao" Paulson) who has been asking forum regulars to send cookies to himself without considering sending some to Steve, the owner of this web site.

In an e-mail to Steve, Pete blasted Tao, a self-described socialist (on the Politics Forum) and geology professor. He wrote: "Hypocrisy is rampant among socialists. Ben wants everyone in the ColoradoGuy community to give him cookies but is unwilling to part with any of his own cookies in order to provide for others."

Florida Pete assured Steve that his wife would be "more than happy" to bake and send off more cookies if he is elected Hair Consultant in the upcoming mid-April election.

"I just hope you don't eat them all in a glut, like most people who receive free things from socialist governments usually do." added Pete, taking another stab at Tao.

"They were definitely good cookies." stated Steve, the so-called "Internet personality" who recently ate (honest to God!) canned corn, raisins and beer for dinner because he hardly had any food in his apartment and was too lazy to go supermarket shopping.

"I might get in trouble for this, but it's been pretty annoying to see Tao on the Friendship Board asking for cookies with all these women gushing over him." explained Steve, "I guess Tao is only a socialist when other people are helping him, which is pretty selfish in my opinion."

With Tao leading in the latest poll among all candidates, garnering 43% of the vote, the front runner Tao is being targeted and attacked by other candidates trailing him. Tao's popularity is based on his connecting with voters who are disillusioned with the Hair Consultant process and Steve's tendency to fire Hair Consultants on a whim. This year, reforms were put into place which limit to Steve in firing Hair Consultants to just three situations: 1) he/she says Steve should cut his hair, 2) he/she becomes a wacko drama queen or 3) he/she does not have any contact with Steve for over a month.
