OLATHE, KS -- Hair Consultant candidate Kansas Kelly blasted fellow candidate Erin as having a "non-viable" and "ridiculous" campaign in view of her stubborn refusal to post regularly on the ColoradoGuy.com forums, in which hundreds of daily visitors converse and socialize with others.

"Why should ColoradoGuy regulars throw their votes to a candidate that isn't even a part of our wonderful community?! Where is the accountability? I recognize (Erin) lives in Manitou Springs, but I can honestly say (having lived in Manitou myself) that she was not a regular visitor of Steve nor does she regularly visit the site. (Erin's) ONLY qualification is that she lives in Manitou. End of story." wrote Kansas Kelly on the Friendship Board, "We've had "in-state" hair consultants before...and they've never done a thing for Steve's hair in the past."

"I'm sure Erin is a nice person, but I'm afraid she'd be just another Phil (a disgraced Hair Consultant fired in 2004) who could vanish and skip out of town without warning." wrote Kelly in an e-mail the next day.

Steve "ColoradoGuy" Garufi admitted he has repeatedly invited Erin to post in the forums over the years, but Erin has always resisted.

"I do find it troubling that Erin makes time for other things in her life, but can't visit the Friendship Board (see adjacent photo) for even five minutes each day. That's lame." said Steve.

Florida Pete, another Hair Consultant candidate and regular poster on the forums, also had critical words of Erin. "(Erin) is a CG forum poser. She only chimes in when she knows she's being discussed on the forum boards. Watch, she'll post on the Friendship Forum when she reads my comment just to try to pretend she's not a poser. There's a lot of similiarity between Erin and Phil."

The next day, Kansas Kelly and her "running mate" Bernie issued an official campaign position indirectly criticizing Erin for "blowing off" ColoradoGuy forum visitors and not donating financially to this web site: "I refuse to acknowledge any candidates that are not a part of the ColoradoGuy community. Furthermore, I will not acknowledge a candidate that has not established Donor or Member status as an outward display of their commitment to Steve's hair and his website."

Erin (adjacent photo) replied with her own statement on the Friendship Board, which was the first time message she posted on the forums in approximately twelve months: "I regularly check out Steve's page. I'm in quite a few of his pictorals as well. Just because I only have something to say every once in a while you don't have to say I'm not part of this community."
