Cute Daughter Decorates Florida Pete's Hair!
Candidate Pete's Hair Given Ribbons And Pony Tails to Create "Levity" Amidst Negative Campaigning!
April 6, 2005
JACKSONVILLE, FL - Aw, what cute pony tails!
In a press release today, Hair Consultant candidate Florida Pete showed off two
recent photos of him where his cute daughter, Kelly, gave him pony tails and on another occasion, put ribbons in his hair.
"I knew this election would be fun, but to be honest my wife and I were initially
shocked upon learning I was called a dimwit, idiot, weasel and whatever else Ben's campaign has smeared me with."
wrote Pete, "So I thought these pictures would bring some levity to the campaign." added Pete.
All agree, regardless of his merits (or lack of) for being Hair Consultant, that Pete has been a
positive influence on this web site and has visited the forums on a daily basis during the campaign to share his humor and cheer.
"I really like that Pete wrote that poem about this web site. That says a lot about him considering he is a family man who's starting a new business." said Steve.
Steve Himself Voices Support For Florida Pete!
"He's got my vote. I could see Pete serving well all year as my Hair Consultant."
April 7, 2005
MANITOU SPRINGS, CO - Hair Consultant candidate Florida Pete received yet another "powerhouse endorsement" when
Steve "ColoradoGuy" Garufi, the webmaster of this web site and who's hair is most influenced by this election,
announced his firm support for Florida Pete's candidacy.
"He's got my vote. I could see Pete serving well all year as my Hair Consultant." wrote Steve, "Pete's
funny and he's always on the forums too."
"I'll admit he didn't do the greatest job answering questions in the voter guide, but let's face it,
I don't think any of the candidates will actually help me with my hair. I've learned
to take care of my hair on my own. So why not Pete?" reasoned Steve.
Last month,
Florida Pete gained the endorsement of Jennifer B., the webmaster of LongHairLovers.com and a haircare professional in Ohio. "(Florida Pete is) a good guy and I like his nutritional recommendations for dealing with your damaged hair." wrote Jennifer.
According to reports, the so-called "Internet personality" was undecided between Kansas Kelly and Florida Pete,
but the striking difference among their respective "running mates" was the deciding factor that swayed him for Pete.
"Pete chose Littlehands who is always on the forums and enthusiastic. Kansas Kelly chose Bernie,
who hasn't typed even one message since last November. Now I'm close friends with Kelly and Bernie, but how could I
in anyway support that type of ignoring of me and my forum visitors?" wrote Steve, "When Kelly wouldn't drop Bernie from the ticket, my choice was easy."
Florida Pete obliterated the "oh-I'm-too-busy" excuse on the Friendship Board: "Oh, by the way, I ran 7 service calls today,
scored a major account with a restaurant chain to reupholster hundreds of seats in booths, came home tacked
on an inside back on an 18th century Louis the XIV museum piece chair, kissed my wife,
picked up the company van from the shop and then logged on to www.ColoradoGuy.com. What's Bernie's excuse?"
Voting for Hair Consultant happens from April 13-16. Visit the 2005 Hair Consultant Election Headquarters Page for more details.
