Long-Time Regular Kansas Kelly Voices Support For Sarah!
"Sarah Is Just So Sweet And So Friendly" Who "Knows More About Hair" - (March 17, 2006)
JOHNSON COUNTY, KANSAS -- "Kansas Kelly" (adjacent photo), a long-time regular visitor and forum
poster on this web site, gave her endorsement today to the Hair Consultant campaign of Sarah B.,
the 18-year-old high school student in Idaho.
"Sarah is just so sweet and so
friendly, and of course she knows more about hair because women just do."
reasoned Kansas Kelly, while talking on the phone with Steve.
Kelly, a close friend of Steve who even hosted and organized the 2005 ColoradoGuy Festival
in northwest Arkansas, is considered a champion for Steve's long, naturally curly hair and his goal to grow it half way down his back.
"I just got to go with my gutt feeling about who should be elected
Hair Consultant, and my gutt says sarah is my gal." added Kelly.
Sarah, who in the latest poll leads over her three opponents with 62% of the vote, was not available for comment.
The "Good And The Bad" That Comes With The Endorsement
While Kelly's support will likely help Sarah (left photo)
win Kansas' plentiful 30 electoral college votes,
not all consider this endorsement to be helpful. This
is because Kansas Kelly has quite a lot of baggage from being an unsuccessful
Hair Consultant candidate in last year's election.
Kansas Kelly defiantly attempted to quit in last year's election after she was blasted
for having a "dead beat" (i.e. a well-regarded forum regular who refuses to visit the forum for long period of time) as her running mate. She was
also criticized for being a "picture hog" - a professional photographer
who rarely (if ever) showed her beautiful nature and Colorado pictures on the forums.
"Kansas Kelly never had the backbone to get rid of Bernie as her running mate." said Steve,
"To me, that speaks of poor leadership."
Paul "Maryland Guy" Henne in the chat room disagreed
with Kansas Kelly's stereotyping of genders. "It is very sexist. Some of the best hairdressers are men!" he wrote.
This year's Hair Consultant election will be held on April 13-16, 2006, and all are encouraged to vote to
decide who should be the encourager and coach for Steve in reaching his long hair goals.
The current Hair Consultant, Ben "One With The Tao" Paulson, chose not to run for re-election and four candidates are vying for the position.
