It was the night before we were headed to northwest Arkansas for the 2006 ColoradoGuy Festival on Labor Day weekend, and I was spending the evening with "Kansas Kelly" in the Kansas City suburb of Olathe, Kansas. Kelly insisted that I have a true Kansas City Barbeque experience and we wound up dining at Oklahoma Joe's Barbeque Restaurant.

Now this was good eatin' folks! I got a full plate of big ol' baby back ribs, shredded barbeque meat and buffalo sausage (I'm pretty sure about the latter). On top of that, I had some texas toast and beans & rice on the side. It was wonderful!

I defintely recommend Oklahoma Joe's BBQ and below is a modest pictorial from my evening out. It was so much fun! :)
