Views of Surrounding Mountains in Manitou Springs!
January 2004

Here's some view from the Williams Canyon overlook at Cave of the Winds. The top two are off the canyon, while the bottom has Cameron Cone and surrounding mountains.
Iron Mountian is the smaller mountain with the one house atop. Manitou Springs is in the base of the valley.
Two more pretty nice shots.
Here's the very popular view from an overlook as you drive up Cave of the Winds Road.
(View from El Paso Boulevard) Pikes Peak is situated a few miles behind Mount Manitou and the immediate front range.
Pikes Peak and the Manitou Incline.
So what do you think? Is Manitou Springs a suburb of Colorado Springs? My Hair Consultant seems to think so. :(
The Crystal Park switchbacks.
From Manitou Avenue & Highway 24.
Oh! That's Red Mountain!

A Few Photos of Highway 24 (Manitou Bypass)
Since "Friends of ColoradoGuy.com" has recently adopted a stretch of Highway 24 in Manitou, I thought I'd show off a few pictures! :)
Milemarker 297 to 299 is very scenic, but it's also a little dangerous to take pictures! ;)
From the Cave of the Winds enterance.
There's a few large red-rock walls. Remember, Garden of the Gods is less than a mile from here.
That's it! :)
