There it is ... The Manitou Trolley!
During the summer of 2001, two of these vehicles drove consistenly throughout Manitou Springs
for tourists and others. People seemed to really like the trolley,
but for various reasons, they were not continued the next year.
Tara came by this morning and we rode the trolley. We had so much fun as seen by the adjacent picture! :)
The insides of the trolley are really nice. The trolley ran throughout
Manitou Springs with many stops along Manitou Avenue.
It went as far as the Garden of the Gods
Trading Post to the Pikes Peak Cog Railway way up Ruxton Avenue.
The Trading Post is located in one of the back entrances of the park.
We got out at the Trading Post and I bought a yummy pretzel for only $1.75! The craziness! :)
Tara and I had a good time. We deeply miss the Manitou Trolley!
