Coffee Nerds
NEW MEXICO PICTURES!
(From Steve's 3-Day Business Trip to Albuquerque)
March 2004
I'll admit many of these photos are fairly random ... The Bank of New Mexico Building!
A beautiful Southwestern chair! I love this type of art!
President Bush was in town while I was there. It's too bad that Colorado doesn't get as much national attention as other "battleground states" do.
This local restaurant in Las Vegas, NM has amazing food! :)

TOP: A really boring stretch between Raton & Las Vegas.
BOTTOM: Wagon Mound, New Mexico! :)

Special thanks to Scott in Albuquerque for serving me lunch one day! I had chicken with lime, a tasty side of pasta and perfectly steamed broccoli! Yum!
An interesting license plate.
Here are all of my New Mexico pictorials:
  • Bike: San Luis, CO to Taos
  • Bike: Taos to Santa Fe
  • I bought ten postcards to send to all my buddies! ;)
One thing you'll notice in New Mexico are really beautiful western murals throughout. Here's the best one I saw - in downtown Albuquerque.

San Felipe De Neri in "Old Town" Albuquerque
Supposedly this is the oldest church building in Albuquerque.
The sanctuary was very nice ... brought me back to last week's visit to the San Luis Shrine.
Just look at that beautiful patch of cacti in front of the church! :)
Historic buildings are nice. Yet "doing religion", if merely for the sake of tradition and preserving a historic building, is meaningless. That's my two cents! Have you ever visited my Religion & Spirituality Forum? Come visit! :)
A nice shot of the two steeples.
Okay, one token shot of me! :)
