Watch out! There's a new up and coming artist in Manitou Springs! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha aha hah aha hah!

One of my goals for 2003 is to do more artistic stuff on a regular basis and this picture on the right is my first piece of work! I know ... I know ... it's a masterpiece! :)

I went on a little adventure buying paints, paint brushes and canvas paper and this weekend I let it rip! Actually, the only goal I had during my painting session was to have fun and not worry about whatever crappy perfectionistic standards were running through my head.

By the way, do you think I should frame this picture of swirlies and sell it on Ebay? I wonder how much it would go for! :)

My first work of art! I think I'm going to call it "The Swirly Painting" :)
For paint, all I did was buy this little 12-pack of cheap acrylic paint for five bucks at Hobby Lobby.
I practiced making smiley Steve faces too! :)
By the way, you can see pictures of me painting my living room if you like as well!

I got all those paint brushes for only three dollars. See how cheap this is? YOU CAN DO THIS TOO, PEOPLE!
Ahhhhh, and lovely lamp set the mood for painting just right!
