Ruxton Creek in Autumn Colors, Manitou Springs, CO - October 2001
Hi everyone. The fall colors are really showing off
their beauty right now. This morning, on a rather chilly day, I took as many shots of
Ruxton Creek, which runs along Ruxton Avenue in Manitou Springs. |
I love the orange leaves in the picture. |
Pretty nice, if you ask me. :-) |
The creek begins way up in
the Pikes Peak range and eventually comes
down alongside many homes on Ruxton Ave. and spills into Fountain Creek, which
flows in the Arkansas River, which flows into the Mississippi River, which flows into
the Gulf of Mexico. :) |
Was looking down from a bridge on this one. Love the green foliage hanging over. |
Just beautiful! |
Check out this chili pepper shaped leaf! with the creek below it. |
You know, maybe I should do this kind of photography for a living. |
Just look at that yellow tree! I love it! |
A small bridge at the Iron Springs Chateau is dominated with red leaves! |
Okay, one token picture of me.
