Colorado Guy Buys a Candle for 25 Cents

Apple-Shaped Candle Bought at Yard Sale for ONLY 25 CENTS!

October 30, 2001

Apple-Shaped Candle Hi everyone. Guest what? I got this really funky-looking candle for only 25 cents at a yard sale this week! The candle is shaped like an apple and I am so proud of myself for finding this unique candle at such a great bargain!

I suppose it is not the biggest deal, but I guess I have been a little obsessed with the candle. I have got it sitting here in front of my computer where I continually look at it. Also, once in awhile I'll place it close to my nose so I can sniff it, even though it is not scented. (It smells like ordinary candle wax.)

So the big question now is: When am I going to light the sucker? Frankly, I am not exactly sure at this time. For the morning, I'm focused on getting my place a little more organized and mailing out the jars of salsa I sold on Ebay, then I head to work. Maybe I will light it on Saturday evening...

Another shot of the Apple-Shaped CandleThere's another shot of the candle. By the way, if you haven't already seen the fun Halloween pictures in Manitou Springs, click on the link! It was a lot of fun.

Oh! The Yankee game was amazing last night. Tino Martinez hit a 2-out, 2-run home run in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game, and Derek Jeter followed with a solo shot in the 10th as the Yankees tied up the World Series 2-2 against Arizona. Woo-hoo!

Alright, everyone have a good day!

Love, Steve :)

P.S. I am going to plug this again: CLICK HERE to watch the movie that I (and many others) worked so hard at making this spring in Bakersfield, California!
