Apple-Shaped Candle Bought at Yard Sale for ONLY 25 CENTS!
October 30, 2001
Hi everyone. Guest what? I got this really
funky-looking candle for only 25 cents at a yard sale this week!
The candle is shaped like an apple and I am so proud of myself for
finding this unique candle at such a great bargain!
I suppose it is not the biggest deal, but I guess
I have been a little obsessed with the candle. I have got it
sitting here in front of my computer where I continually
look at it. Also, once in awhile I'll place it close to my nose so I
can sniff it, even though it is not scented. (It smells like ordinary candle wax.)
So the big question
now is: When am I going to light the sucker?
Frankly, I am not exactly sure at this time. For the morning,
I'm focused on getting my place a little more organized
and mailing out the jars of salsa I sold on Ebay, then I head to work.
Maybe I will light it on Saturday evening...
There's another shot of the candle.
By the way, if you haven't already seen the fun Halloween pictures in
Manitou Springs, click on the link! It was a lot of fun.
Oh! The Yankee game was amazing last night.
Tino Martinez hit a 2-out, 2-run home run in the
bottom of the 9th to tie the game, and Derek Jeter
followed with a solo shot in the 10th as the Yankees
tied up the World Series 2-2 against Arizona. Woo-hoo!
Alright, everyone have a good day!
Love, Steve :)
P.S. I am going to plug this again: CLICK HERE to watch the
movie that I (and many others) worked so hard at making this
spring in Bakersfield, California!
