Inappropriate Valentine's Day Hearts Distributed At Work

(Steve Alarms Co-Workers By Giving Insulting Messages On Leftover Holiday Candies - February 25, 2005)

Steve "ColoradoGuy" Garufi is becoming out of control at his workplace! The mental health worker and webmaster of this web site was apparently bored and needed an outlet during the work day, and so he wrote amusing and insulting messages on leftover Valentine's Day candy hearts. He actually had the audacity to hand them out to many of his co-workers.

Traditional messages were crossed out, and new messages were written on the back side that read things like "You're such a bitch!" and "Your hair is ugly!". One message was deemed so inappropriate that it was censored on this web site!

"Oh my goodness, these are not appropriate at all." stated Sarah H. (adjacent photo), a social worker who examined some of the candies.

"Then again, I know one employee who really ought to receive this one. It would be perfect for her." she added.

Steve denied that he had anyone particularly in mind when he wrote the messages.

"I gave one to the nurse and she was just cracking up and laughing for quite awhile." contended Steve, as he stood in his office with numerous Christmas lights on the window that he calls the "mental health chaos window."

One co-worker was unphased by the slogans: "I love those heart candies especially the pink and white ones, but I wouldn't eat one knowing there was something writting in ink on the back."

Steve's workplace experiences have been previously shown on this web site. A past co-worker once gave Steve a bottle of menstrual pills to mock his ever-shifting moods in the office. Also archived are stories about copy machines. Specifically, a contentious argument over naming a new copier transpired in 2003, and in 2001 a copy machine broke Lou Gehrig's consecutive record.

Note: This is an article from 2005. I had to resurrect it! -Steve :)
