THE TELLURIDE GONDOLA: Photos of Telluride's Mountain Scenery - October 23, 2005
Here's some photos of Telluride's scenery from our ride on the Telluride Gondola. The Gondola is free to ride during the non-ski season and connects the town of Telluride with Mountain Village and many of the ski runs.

TOP: Lifting off from Telluride.
MIDDLE: Way up the hill, again looking back at Telluride.
BOTTOM: Looking off more to the northwest.

Below are all of my area pictures:
  • Bridal Veil Falls
  • Bicycling About In Telluride
  • Telluride Gondola (Old photos from 2002)
  • Lizard Head Pass
  • Rico
  • Dallas Divide
  • Bike: Wolf Creek Pass
  • Cascade Falls (Ouray)

  • There's definitely a few parts where if you're scared of heights, you just might not want to look down as I did and freaked out about it. Dave (right) smiles contently during the ride.
The area of Mountain Village is a well-planned ski village with ski slopes that intertwine with the area. It definitely looks impressive!
Mt. Wilson Looking towards the south and southwest, I got one shot of 14er Mt. Wilson. The lighting was poor, but hey, I did my best! ;)
Here are all of my 14er hikes:
  • Pikes, Princeton, Sherman, Dem - Linc - Bross
